I love decorating and doing different (and unique) things in my household. Unfortunately, constantly being broke all of the time doesn’t afford me the luxury of buying the quirky and unique items that I come across on a daily basis online. However, Better Homes & Gardens has this absolutely AMAZING article published today “10 Flea Market Makeovers” that is so inspiring!
For instance, who would have ever thought to use a scarf as wall art? I have an absolutely gorgeous silk scarf that a former boss brought back from China for me – that I have never worn (because I have nothing to wear it with lol) – that would be absolutely STUNNING in a frame and hanging in my living room where I could enjoy the vibrant colors and beauty of it!
Look at this absolutely stunning serving tray! Now why didn’t I think of something like that?
I absolutely love this rolling nightstand as well that has made use of some old crates. Completely and totally original! I love it!
You’ll have to check out the rest of the article and see how they have made use of an old chicken coop, doilies, old dresser drawers for storage, turned a plant stand into a table (complete with plants!), an old TV cabinet or china hutch, a fireplace mantel, colorful animal feed and dry good sacks converted into pillowcases and more!
Check it out when you get a moment!
