Reasons Why Tankless Water Heaters are Gaining Immense Popularity

Various kinds of modern appliances are used in homes for convenience and comfort. Tankless water heaters need special mention in this regard. A boon of technological development, this appliance is comfortable and convenient to use, along with being energy efficient at the same time. If you are planning to upgrade the existing water heating system or looking for a new water heater system for your home, you really should take a look at the tankless water heaters.

There is no external storage tank where hot water would be stored. The water gets heated instantly and can be used then and there. We’ve listed below some great reasons on why these tankless water heaters are gaining in popularity to help you better understand the difference.

Get Instant Hot Water

In many households, there is need of instant hot water. Installing a tankless water heater will give you the opportunity of getting hot water instantly. When you have a large family, these water heaters are just perfect for use. When water is being used from a traditional hot water tank, it is obvious that the water level will decrease with use and at one point of time will get exhausted. One has to wait for some time for bath before the tank gets filled again with hot water. But with tankless water heaters, instant hot water is available all the time. You can browse through the top models of such heaters at http://tanklesswaterheaterhub.com/ and buy the one that suits your needs.

Takes Less Space

Tankless water heaters take minimum space to be installed. On the other hand, water heaters with tanks need great amount of space for installation. The traditional water heater is almost 60 inches in height and the tank has the capacity of holding almost 40-60 gallons of water comfortably. The set is bulky and takes up lot of space. On the other hand, tankless water heaters are only 20-28 inches in height with no storage and are therefore compact. Lots of free space is available with this water heating system.

Savings on Energy Consumption

Energy consumption is much lower in tankless water heating systems when compared to general water heating systems with storage facilities. This is because water gets heated instantly and the machine runs for short span of time thus saving on electrical consumption. Monthly utility bills are also reduced significantly with this kind of appliance set in the house. It is true that the cost of these water heating systems is more than traditional heating systems initially, but they prove to be cost-effective on the long-run.

High Longevity

When compared to traditional water heating systems, tankless water heaters have higher longevity. These heaters last for almost 12-13 years. When well maintained, these heaters last for more than 20 years. The products also come with long warranty periods of 5-10 years depending on the model and the manufacturer.

With so many advantages of tankless water heating systems, there is no reason why they won’t become popular. Study about the best models at tankless water heater hub and make your choice.

  1. Wow!! The tankless option sounds amazing!! Something we will have to look into when we build our house!! I love the little space it takes up!!

    • I know isn’t it amazing? I told my husband that he needs to tell our apartment complex owner about these – there would be so much more room available in our laundry room area without that huge water heater. More storage space for the apartments and they would actually be able to switch over to full size washer and dryers in all of the apartments instead of the stackable ones – which are a pain in the toosh to work on according to him lol. I love the idea of having instant hot water no matter what … hate having to wait for the hot water to build up in between showers – when all four of us are getting a shower in the evening it takes like 3 hours because hubby will use all the hot water in the dang tank lol!!
